| This villa is ideally placed for exploration of Lefkada, but is also so comfortable and beautiful to make a stay-put holiday extremely satisfying. A delightful house that makes excellent use of it’s location and allocates a very generous amount of space to indoor and outdoor living including a beautiful swimming pool, with its comfortable sun loungers below the main terrace. The English owners have created a charming house, with all the beauty of a traditional Greek stone house – handsome wooden artifacts and all the informal comfort of a contemporary country home. The accommodation is divided between two stone-built houses: on the higher level there is the Main House, separated from the Guest House by a lovely shaded sitting and dining area. On the lower ground floor beneath the main house, there is a big, quite informal room equipped with a TV and large beds (both 4’6”) which can be used either as a family room or as a teenager’s bedroom. On an island much-loved by international yachtsmen, the views from this house are rarely without a spectacular selection of boats and yachts heading for Nidri, a busy little town and port below. A Cook Service is available on request, for an additional cost. |
